I spent over 20 years as an emergency physician. I know what happens when medicine goes wrong… and I know what happens when the legal system tries to make it right.
The expert witness industry is supposed to be the bridge between those two worlds. Instead it’s a circus.
Everyone is out to make a buck. Experts are selected not because they’re the best for the case, but because they’re the most available or the most profitable to place. Nobody is transparent about what’s happening behind the scenes or where the money is going.
I couldn’t accept that.
When I see a broken system I can’t walk away from it. So I spent years learning this space from the inside… doing case analysis, building relationships with attorneys across the country, getting to know which experts are truly exceptional and which ones just look good on paper.
